KAITA?
본 협회는 호주한인 정보통신 협회 (영문:Korean Association of Information Technology in Australia)라 칭합니다.
본 협회는 1997년 창립 되었으며,정기적으로 학술대회, 세미나 등을 통하여 회원간의 정보기술 교환을 활성화하고 회원들의 전문기술로 재호 한국 교민의 정보 기술 저변 확대에 기여함은 물론, 호주 I.T. 시장분석 및 자료수집을 통하여 한민족 정보화기술(I.T) 네트웍을 형성하는데 기여 하고자 추진하고 있습니다.
이를 위해서는 회원간의 친목과 다양한 행사를 통하여 호주 내에서의 I.T분야에서 종사하는 회원과 대학부생(학사, 석사, 박사포함)들과의 원활한 유대 관계 및 네트웍을 형성하는데 또한 중점으로 두고 있습니다.
협회 주요활동 및 운영방향
- 정기적 학술대회, 외부강사 초빙 세미나 및 유망한 I.T 관련 자격증 취득을 위한 특별 세미나 등을 통하여 회원들의 정보 교환 및 새로운 정보기술의 창달을 도모함은 물론, 이를 통하여 회원간의 파트너쉽과 네트웍을 형성하고 있습니다.
- 호주 I.T. 산업분야 종사 회원과 대학부 생들과의 원활한 유대관계를 통한 폭 넓은 네트웍을 지속적으로 활성화함으로써 본 협회의 목적에 따라 많은 정보기술분야의 정보를 축적하고 하고 있습니다.
- 회원들의 네트웍을 통한 호주 I.T.산업을 분석/조사 파악하고 DB를 구축함으로써 관련 기관 및 벤쳐기업 들에게 호주 I.T.산업동향에 관한 정보를 제공함으로써 해외 마케팅에 채널자 역할을 하고자 합니다.
- 정부의 글로벌 (한민족) I.T. 네트웍을 형성 및 산업계가 필요로 하는 인재 유치 사업에도 협력하고자 합니다.

AKPA was founded about 20 years ago as a non-political fraternal
organization of ethnic Korean physicists in the U.S.A. and Canada for
the purpose of promoting good-will friendships and encouraging the
scholarly research works and exchanges among its members, while
maintaining the cooperative relationships with the American, Canadian
and Korean Physical Societies. The activityies of the AKPA include
publications of membership directory, Newsletters, Electronic
Networking, Outstanding Young Resercher Award, Archives and Annual
Meeting and Banquet during the Spring APS Meeting week.

영국은 유럽과 미국을 이어주면서 전세계의 과학기술정보 및 비지니스가 이
루어 지는곳임. 재영과협을 통해서 문의나 자문을 구할수 있다.
1974년 창립되었고 500여명의 영국내 과학자중에 현재 200여명 정도의 영국
내 활동 회원들로 구성되어있다.

SIG-Y: Youth(Undergraduate) 있고,
정회원은 석사학위 소지이상 혹은 이에 동등한 경력자로 영국내 거주 준회원
